The delivery of Regionov third series trainsets - just one year after the contract signature for their production – is now in its half. The contract to supply 62 pieces of these two-car units was concluded by this Šumperk firm with the Czech Railways in November 2010. The customer took over the 31st unit produced in the third series in half of November. Presently, the Czech Railways are operating already 168 Regionov two-car trainsets. This year, these units delivery will stop at number 37 and remaining 25 trainsets of third series will be produced and supplied in 2012. Afterwards, the fourth series will continue in number of 11 pieces of Regionov which will be co-financed by the Regional Operating Programs of the European Union. The supply of modernized Regionov units to the Czech Railways will culminate at the end of the year 2012.

In November, a trial operation of first 4 driving units of series 961 started too. Pars nova company presented them ceremonially at the trade fair in Ostrava in June. The firm will supply to the Czech Railways 34 pieces of these driving units. They are destined to a remote control of unoccupied locomotives in return trainsets for transport of long-distance fast trains and passenger trains on main and secondary lines. The abovementioned 4 driving units were handed over to customer at the turn of September and October. But the commissioning was preceded by a testing period necessary for approval by the Railway Authority to start a trial operation with passengers and to make trials with locomotives intended to a certain operation. Followingly, the first of units which was handed over, pulled out with passengers to a trial operation on almost magic date 11/11/2011.
