CZ LOKO among the fifty best companies
19. 03. 2012In the this year´s „Czech Best 100“survey, the CZ LOKO Company has taken up the 49th position and, compared to the last year, it has improved its position by ten. The growing prestige of this Company that produces, modernizes and repairs diesel-electric and electric locomotives has been confirmed by its placing amongthe five laureates in the departmental category “ Invention – engagement – export – profit”. The Company has repeated its last year´s primacy here.
For the first time in history, this year´s turnover of the CZ LOKO Company will exceed 2 billion Czech crowns. Owing to its success on foreign markets, the export that has achieved hundreds of millions of crowns will be increased by 100 % this year. The firm holds its positions in the Czech Republic as well; for example, it will modernize ten track motor cars for the ING Lease (C.R.)company, which will be operated by the Správa železniční dopravní cesty (SŽDC) (The Railway Transportation Management) company. The Contract value is Mio 86 CZK excl. VAT. The CZ LOKO Company will modernize also ten special railway vehicles of the MVTV 2 type for the same firms. SŽDC will pay about a quarter of billion of Czech crowns for them. The ceremonial announcement of results and prices awarding took place in the Spanish Hall of the Prague Castle on November 25th, 2011. The Czech Best 100 survey is held and organized by the Pan- European company for culture, education and scientific – technical cooperation, Comenius. The prize, handed over by Mr. Martin Kuba, the CR Minister of Industry and Business, was accepted on behalf of the CZ LOKO Company by Mr. Josef Bárta, its director general and chairman of the Board of Directors.
