02. 01. 2012LEGIOS CO. – a leading European producer of locomotives and railway wagons – in the years 2009 and 2010, proved its ability as a producer of tank wagons of good quality which is confirmed by production and supply of a hundred tank wagons for all possible products, including highly sophisticated tanks with insulations and heating.Thanks to a high quality of wagons, reliability and last but not least also thanks to capacity volumes LEGIOS belongs among the top of companies producing tank wagons.
During last three years, LEGIOS has changed a trade strategy and focused on the expansion into European countries. Radek Rybáček, general director is convinced that LEGIOS´s production is able to make headway in a hard competition not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia but also in Germany , Switzerland, France, Italy, Turkey and Russia. Key-customers and supplied products: Nacco. Tank wagons Class Zacns 56 m3 for transport of liquids with a stainless steel tank and two two-axle bogies, type Y25 Ls1-K. Wagon is destined for transport of NaOH and other dangerous substances transported in a liquid state according to RID. The firm also produces a variant Zacens 56 m3 to transport HNO3. Four-axle tanks Zacns 95 m3 for transport of petrol and LTO. This wagon´s tank is not insulated and is equipped by low outlet. Bogies of type Y25 Ls1-K were used here. Discharging wagons Class Facns 81 m3 for transport of coal. Wagon is equipped by four hoppers and thanks to them it is possible to discharge material over and between tracks. An interesting novelty is preparation to mount a roof. Used bogies are of type Y25 Ls1-K too.
