These are used by the primary producers and also serve as a fully equivalent replacements for the older types of shock absorbers known as TB, BBW, DK, friction shock absorbers, etc. The new type lines produced by ST- OS are the P8, P80 and P110 lines. Continuous technical and technological improvement of all type lines (H8, P8, P80, R110, P110) enabled ST-OS to introduce a new market policy. By providing full rangeofservices in the area ofnewshockabsorbers as well as in low-cost generalrenovations with the use of original spareparts, ST-OS offers its customers the best solution for the damping of the railway bogie. ST-OS has been developing a shock absorber based on a new principle of damping. Recently a new shock absorber equipped with a sensor of the piston rod position has been introduced to the market. The basis for these activities was created by modernized manufacturing technology and by the projects co-financed by the EU and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Thanks to OPPI InovationProgramme a newdust- -free assembly shop equipped with a new fully-automatic testing bench has beenbuilt. In addition to that a new paintingdevice using both the wet and the powder technologies has been put into operation and all serial machining has been transferred to new CNC machining centres.
