Certification of the wheels workshop in the company operational centre of repairs (PSO) Nymburk

The certification, achieved in June, accomplished successfully the reconstruction of the wheels workshop within the company PSO Nymburk which had started in 2009. The amount of some 10 millions Kč was used for repairs of the main hall, of floors but mainly included a gradual delivery of several new production technologies in order to extend the production program. In the field of wheelset repairs the offer of services was enlarged: pressing works can be done not only on wheelsets, CNC lathe was delivered to make reprofilation of running surfaces in the whole scale of running outlines and to prepare discs and wheel centres as well; CNC lathe for adaptation of axle pins and dynamic balancer were installed too.

Thus, we are able to provide complete repairs of wheelsets for all types of passenger, freight and traction rail vehicles (exchange of wheel centres, monoblocs, discs, tyres, brake discs, regulation of wheel centres, discs, axle pins, welding on) running up to the speed of 160 km/h at this workplace. And further, we can make complete repairs of wheelsets for vehicles with the speed of 160 km/h or more and repairs of wheelsets of units Class 680 with monoblocs BONATRANS.
