CZ LOKO unveils new rolling stock
12. 09. 2011CZ LOKO, which this year also participated in the CZECH RAILDAYS 2011 trade fair in Ostrava, has unveiled several new products to the public.
Among them, in particular, was the modern locomotive 750.7, which is produced for Czech Railways (ČD), for train and fast-train rail transport. The first locomotives from this product line were commissioned for ČD tracks already at the end of 2010. InOstrava, the public got to see the seventh locomotive, with the registration number 750.707-2, out of the total series of 19 locomotives to be received by ČD. This is an example of a very successful business plan whose fundamental philosophy lies in the effort to provide rail operators with a dieselelectric locomotive with very good operating parameters for an acceptable price. The proven know-how is based on a general overhaul of the locomotive’s original bogie and frame, on which a new locomotiveis assembled from a system of module elements, its operating features complying with the needs of the third millennium.
Other products CZ LOKO exhibited at CZECH RAILDAYS were rail machines for construction, refurbishment, repairs and maintenance, namely the MUV 74.001 and SVP 60.2001 vehicles in modern design.
At the trade fair, other CZ LOKO products were displayed: the 742.701-6 and 742.262-9 (this one with a lower rear compartment) locomotives, both in the livery of ČD Cargo, as well as the 753.706- 1 cargo locomotive in the livery of AWT.
