CKD Kutná Hora, a.s. is a Czech producer of railway bogies, machined frames of bogies and other welded parts of railway vehicles and construction machines, steel and iron castings. CKD KH consists of the following plants: the foundry Kutna Hora, the foundry Chrudim, the engineering plant Kutna Hora, the engineering plant Chrudim, the pattern shop and SCB Foundry, a.s. The foundry Kutna Hora delivers steel and iron castings in weight of 5 kg to 10 000 kg to european and foreign customers.

The foundry Chrudim produces ductile and grey iron castings in weight of 5 kg to 1.700 kg.
The engineering plant Kutna Hora supplies complete railway bogies, machined frames of bogies and other welded parts of railway vehicles and construction machinery.

Important portion of our deliveries we ship to new Bombardier project – VLU bogies for the London Subway Victoria Line. Further important project is the Locomotive Frame Casting Project for the EMD Locomotives, based in Canada. Also CKD KH has been awarded with a long term project for the delivery of Tram Frame Castings to modern SKODA T15 tramways.

The engineering plant Chrudim ensures the final machining of the weldments and castings. SCB Foundry, a.s.supplies steel and ductile iron castings in weight of 15 kg to 12 000 kg.

CKD KH has inked longterm deals for deliveries of castings to bogies 18-100 russian& ukrainian type and S-2 Barber® bogiestype for the US market. We are certified bythe UAE, RU, US railway authorities for deliveryof the castings.
