Škoda Transportation

At the previous INNOTRANS trade fairthe ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION company unveiled vehicle prototypes of the 15 Ttramcar for the city of Prague and the 109 E el. locomotive for the Czech Railways.This year another vehicles of the company production will be exhibited at the fairarea: tramcar for Riga similar to the 15 Tand the push-pull unit for ZSSK.

During the past two years ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION signed a few contracts. These include the continuance of a success fultram car supplies for the Polish city of Wroclaw, this time with a bi-directional vehicle type 19 T in the total number of 28 tramcars. Another contract is supply of tramcars type 15 T-R for Latvian city of Riga. This tramcar is specific by its use of materials for operation at temperatures down to -40 °C.

Further agreement was concluded with the Slovak Railways (ŽSSK) in the field of the locomotives.

Last but not least, the company managed to take over depots of two routes of Prague´s underground. The company will provide full service work on the vehicle soperated there.
